GroundShift

Embodied Relating for Tumultuous Times

Wed Sept 23 | 5 - 7 pm | Park Slope, Brooklyn

Hey climate week,

ready to get out of your head?

Together, we will embody the change we wish to see. Through ecocentric movement and a talking circle, we will drop into our bodies, relationships, and the messy middle of our collective moment. Come practice with us in service of our shared future.

GroundShift

Movement:

We'll open with guided somatic movement - an improvisational blend of authentic movement and embodied expression. Expressive and led by instinct as much as instruction, this practice invites you to arrive fully in your body and let it speak what words can't. Together we'll explore what it means to be an embodied earth citizen at this moment - how our posture and the ways we move inform how we show up in these times.

No experience necessary. Just a willingness to move.

Sharing Circle:

From movement we drop into honest conversation. An intentional space for the kind of present-moment, radically honest dialogue that our polycrisis moment is asking of us - together, in real time, without easy answers. We will explore themes of collapse and emergence and how this lands in our hearts and relationships and in the present moment.
