Roots of Resilience
This 8-week group is a guided journey from ecological distress to embodied resilience. Through meditation, grief ritual, nature connection, somatic practices, and storytelling we explore how to process eco-emotions, remember our place within the living world, and root into an ecological identity. From grounding the nervous system to awakening purpose, each session invites you into deeper connection—with self, community, and Earth. Together we will move from grief to regeneration, from disconnection to belonging.
Facilitated by Maia Kiley, licensed psychotherapist, certified ecotherapist, and member of the Climate Psychology Alliance. Though this group is therapeutic and led by a licensed psychotherapist, it is not therapy. This is an educational, experiential group.

This group is for
those who feel the weight of ecological distress. Whether through grief, anxiety, disconnection, overwhelm, or burnout. And are seeking a deeper, embodied path to resilience and meaning. This program is designed for therapists, activists, healers, educators, and sensitive, earth-connected individuals. For those who want to process their eco-emotions in community, connect with nature, and align their nervous systems with regenerative practices.
Participants should be open to experiential work including meditation, ritual, nature-based practices, group sharing, and movement. This is a space for those longing to reconnect with something ancient, rooted, and whole. Those ready to remember their place in the web of life. And take steps toward healing self and Earth. You are not alone. Your grief and hope are welcome here.

I’m happy to make referrals for therapists.

You may want to treat this group as you would a family or work commitment, a high priority. Sessions are in a particular sequence that builds on the previous one, as the group becomes deeper and more cohesive over time. You are expected to pay for all meetings even if you need to miss any of them. If you know you will miss more than 2 out of the 8 meetings, I recommend you wait to join another round.

I look forward to hearing from you!
